A Bucket List is defined as “a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.”
The term originates from the expression Kick the Bucket as in ‘List of things to do before I kick the bucket’ and was made globally popular by the 2007 American comedy-drama film directed by Rob Reiner: The Bucket List.
As a wine lover, having some of my favorite wines stands high on my bucket list. But more importantly, as wine about more than anything about sharing and never tastes any better than with good company, I want to enjoy them with friends, family, loved ones…
If you are a wine lover, you haven’t come up with your own bucket list yet, and you are lacking inspiration, I have made one up for you to get you started.
Today’s unpretentious and not-to-be-taken-seriously Wine & Fun post therefore reveals my own bucket list:
- Buy Bucket: a bucket that you like, Champagne bucket is a good choice although not many bottles fit in. See suggestions below
- Buy Wine: the ones you want to die before you kick the bucket
- Fill the bucket with Wine
- Gather my Loved Ones
- Drink wine: the best part obviously
