Vestia has developed a newly patented technology that automatically and continuously vacuum seals and removes air from any open wine bottle, keeping it fresh and flavorful for weeks instead of days. They are currently seeking investors on Kickstarter to bring this product to wine lovers across the globe.

Why does my recently opened bottle of wine already taste funky?
How many times has this happened to you?
You uncork an already opened bottle of wine, ready to pour yourself another glass, when you realize that it’s gone bad? Since an average bottle of wine lasts only three to five days after opening, you essentially have less than a week to finish it. Between busy schedules, travel, or simply forgetting that it’s in the refrigerator, that might not be enough time.
The fact of the matter is that once the cork is popped, the wine inside the bottle is immediately exposed to air.
Exposure to the air continues to occur, and even the average wine stopper can’t prevent the dissolution of oxygen into the wine. As the oxygen interacts with certain phenolic compounds, oxidation transpires, and your vino loses its fresh taste and fruity aroma.
You may be thinking that prolonged exposure to air won’t happen if you properly seal the bottle with the average wine stopper, but that’s not the case.
If air is not actively pulled out of the bottle, it creeps back in and spoils your wine faster. That’s why a wine saver with a full-proof, vacuum-sealing motor is critical to long-lasting wine preservation. With the right technology, your bottle can last for weeks instead of days.
How does the Vestia Wine Saver help to keep wine fresh for longer?
We created the Vestia Wine Saver to prevent rapid oxidation and give wine drinkers more time to enjoy their already opened bottle.
To do this, we implemented our advanced, patented Vestia-Vac vacuum sealing technology into a wine saver device to actively and continuously prevent oxidation.
The Vestia Wine Saver preserves bottles of wine and helps to prevent oxidation by creating a low pressure environment in the bottle.
With a vacuum-sealing motor and a specially-designed wine stopper, the Vestia Wine Saver automatically and continuously vacuum seals and removes air from any wine bottle. And, when air gets into the bottle for any reason, the Wine Saver instantaneously activates to remove it.
To use the Wine Saver, simply place the product and Vestia Wine Stopper onto an open bottle, just like you’d regularly cork a bottle.
Leaving the Wine Saver on the bottle allows the product to continuously remove the air from inside.
When you’re ready to enjoy another glass of wine from your Vestia-corked bottle, click the release lever on the side of the Wine Saver and pull up, keeping the Wine Stopper in place.
The Wine Stopper will continue to tightly hold the vacuum-sealed bottle until the white button is pressed to release the pressure.
What differentiates the Vestia Wine Saver from other vacuum-sealing motor products on the market?
Today’s marketplace is full of hand pumps, cans, tubes and complicated contraptions.
The Vestia Wine Saver doesn’t require any hand-pumping, excessive cords or bulky canisters. The compact device also offers a universal fit, sealing most standard bottles of wine to preserve freshness and flavor.
Additionally, the current crop of vacuum sealers seal air out once, letting it creep back in once the motor is removed.
The Vestia Wine Saver, on the other hand, will automatically turn on to prevent air from seeping in. Once it senses that air has entered the bottle, it automatically activates to suck the air out.
Why donate?
We truly believe that the Vestia Wine Saver is the future for every wine connoisseur who wants to preserve their wine for longer.
This product is designed and ready to go into production, but we need your help!
To bring the Vestia Wine Saver to wine bottles around the world (and particularly yours), we’re raising money on Kickstarter for physical production. The seven tiers of investment options range from $1.00 to $500.00+, and anyone who donates $17.00 or more will get a Vestia Wine Saver for free.
