Tasting Notes
This vintage Champagne comes in a lemon-yellow color with delicate grey hues.
The nose strikes by its sheer intensity, powerfully aromatic straight up at the first sniff. Roasted nuts and toasted bread almost jump out of the glass. Vanilla and butter join the fun as you analyze further as well as a shiny lemon note cutting through the oaky tones. Somewhere between fresh lemon and marmalade, it’s intense and vibrant to smell.
The palate is rich and powerful coating your mouth in body and oily texture as well as silky bubbles. In a dry style, it feels balanced though, ripe, oaky with a distinctive salty mineral feel. Long finish on oaky notes.
A very concentrated Blanc de Noirs that delights with its fullness, concentration and texture. It is also frank and open in flavors of exuberant citrus fruit as well as fine oak tones. Long and utterly balanced.
