Tasting Notes
This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc comes in a typical quite pale lemon color with some green hues, a little ‘gris’ overall.
The aromatic profile is exuberant and powerful, filled with tropical fruit notes: a huge ripe passion fruit character dominates some fresh pineapple, fresh zesty lime, pear and a touch of white pepper.
Add some grassiness and you’ll get a feel for this fragrant nose full of fresh fruits.
Crisp acidity and vegetal phenolics burst on your palate as soon as you put the wine in your mouth. They do tighten your tastebuds a little more than you (at least I) would hope for, but it does give a refreshing zesty sensation, like bitting in a fresh lime.
Mid-to-light body and a heap of exuberant tropical and citrus flavors.
Overal
A clean, fresh, and exuberant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that offers delightful tropical and citrus flavors in a very pure and powerful manner. Extremely well made and controlled style that will more than satisfy lovers of the style.
Enjoy 🙂
