Tasting Notes
This Languedoc Merlot comes in a bright red color, with good intensity, but more importantly very vivid red and purple hues.
The aromatic profile is also very lively, dominated by fresh dark cherry notes, rather typical of Merlot, with some herbal notes, and a touch of greenness to it as well.
Palate with smooth tannins, mid-body and medium tannic structure. A slight green bitterness to the finish.
Overall
An enjoyable upfront fruity and rather simple Merlot wine, yet full of juicy fruity cherry flavors, good balance and smooth tannins.
Easy to appreciate and enjoy, it’ll please palates in search of a wine with an approachable fruity profile combined with a certain savoriness and spiciness.
