Tasting Notes
This Argentinian red comes in a dense and dark red color, black to the core with purple hues to the rim making it look intense and deep.
The nose is powerful and deep too, dominated by spicy peppery notes, and dark ripe cherry aromas. Some dark roasted tones make it smell like a black forest cake, some ginger bread spices in bonus!
Put the wine in your mouth, and a world of smooth silky tannins invade your senses. It’s full bodied but the texture is so soft it rather feels light, like a cloud that would be filled with dark berry flavored rain.
Coffee liqueur, sweet spices and black pepper marry blackcurrant liqueur for an intense and deep feel on the palate.
Long oaky finish on vanilla, caramel, and slightly smoky hazelnut.
Overall
An Argentinian red blend that delights by the controlled power of its aromas and flavors. Powerful it is, but also smooth, soft and complex.
Winemakers have made a great job here at combining the qualities of different grapes that visibly are at their advantage under the Argentinian growing conditions: the spiciness and density of Syrah, the juiciness and strength of Malbec, and the dense smoothness of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Rich and pleasant.
