Score: 82/100
This Loire wine called Cuvée Vincent is made from 100% Gamay Noir grapes cultivated by husband and wife vignerons Philippe & Véronique Trotignon on a 4-hectare vineyard whose vines average 25 years of age.
Overall Tasting Notes & Impression
A fruity but simple Gamay red wine bursting with intense flavors of raspberry and strawberry, underlined and made somewhat vibrant by aromas of citrus, lemon as well as spicy lemon grass and white pepper.
Strong acidity combined with obvious carbon dioxide, on a relatively light bodied-red, make for an upfront fruit-driven and super-spicy experience.
A welcome and refreshing companion to casual barbecues, tapas and other social gatherings.
Enjoy 🙂
