Sparkling Wine Review of 2017 Corvezzo Tenuta Brian Organic Prosecco Extra-Dry Millesimato, Veneto, Italy
Score: 88/100
Tenuta Brian is made by Corvezzo winery and is an organic Prosecco made from organically-grown Glera grapes in the Veneto region of Northern Italy.
Overall Wine Review & Tasting Impressions
With a rather generous intensity of color, filled with lemon-yellow hues and a bright and shiny appearance, this Prosecco also shines with the vibrancy of its fruity and floral aromatic profile.
Elderflower and lime compete as the dominant notes to the nose. Both are pure and fragrant, coated and rounded up by an elegant and appetizing bright scent of fresh pear.
The wine feels utterly smooth and generous on the palate, bursting with gorgeous flavors of fresh lemon and acidic orange as well as crisp apricot and juicy peach.
It surely feels very concentrated for a Prosecco, with a crisp and salivating acidity augmented by salty phenolics and balanced by discrete-enough sugars.
The whole feels like a very complex sparkling wine in its flavor profile.
It somewhat tastes like very balanced and elegant lime lemonade, both ultra-refreshing and slightly sweet but with the finesse of a refined fruity wine.
A superb and deeply satisfying Prosecco wine with a rare level of complexity and intensity for this style of bubbly.
It is so lively and concentrated with deep and long fruity notes!
A wine to experience it is…
Enjoy 🙂
