Overall Review Notes & Tasting Impressions
A vibrant red wine with a ruby red color of medium intensity, made deeper by hints of oranges hues.
The aromatic profile is vibrant and rather powerful. Bursting with fresh red berries, redberry, raspberry and strawberry are combined with zesty notes of lime and grapefruit for a very appealing fruity aromatic profile.
It has a relatively soft palate with a crisp acidity that underlines the citrus and fresh berry flavors very well. It is dry with granulous and slightly edgy tannins with a touch of salivating greenness, It’s also minty and earthy adding complexity, spiciness and depth.
The hints of minty greenness come with a slight bitterness that reminds of the sensation you get out of tasting a fresh pesto.
The earthiness and vinosity remind us we are here with an Italian organic wine that despite its fruity and smooth approachability, is still imprinted with its character and personality that comes through as very genuine.
Overall, this is a juicy, easy-to-enjoy and easy-to-like a wine, with a modern approachability, but also its own authentic personality.
Enjoy 🙂
