This Italian Pinot Grigio by Cantina Pizzolato is both an organic wine and a wine suitable for vegan, made in Northern Italy’s Veneto region from an estate located in the rich and flourishing countryside in the north of Treviso. Overall Review Notes & Tasting Impressions
This organic Grigio comes with a relatively pale lemon-yellow color as is common for the style, filled with green hues making it look appealingly refreshing.
The nose is vibrantly fruity, featuring intense notes of pear and lime, with a bright floral character of jasmine. Fragrant, fresh and tempting to smell at.
The palate also pleases, boasting a soft watery and refreshing texture, and delivering a burst of abundant citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, amplified by the dry and crisp style.
Hints of discrete slightly bitter and drying phenolics to the finish add a saline taste to the aftertaste.
A well-made, pure and crisp, fruity and floral Grigio, an archetypical example of this refreshing Grigio style we love. Well executed with the bonus-for-some advantage of being organic!
Enjoy 🙂
