Score: 87/100
This rosé vino by Catalan winery Terra Remota, part of the Ales range is made from 100% Grenache Noir grapes (aka Garnacha Tinta in Spanish or Garnatxa Negre in Catalan).

Overall Tasting Notes & Impressions
With a relatively pale salmon-pink color suggesting a dry and crisp style, this Catalan rosé features intense lemon and grapefruit citrus dominant notes to the aromatic profile, with a white pepper spiciness and a flinty tar background.
The wine is indeed dry and zesty to the taste, with a good acidity and clear lemon flavors combined with notes of pomegranate and raspberry.
A pleasing and refreshing rosé, dry but balanced by a round body and hints of residual sugars.
A powerful and long finish on petrol and Sulphur notes weights the whole a little, but also adds depth and a pleasant savory feel to the finish.
An easy and approachable, yet serious and layered wine, meant to be paired with foods as its slightly salty and edgy phenolics finish suggests. A great companion to barbecues, tapas entrees and other Mediterranean cuisine-inspired delights.
Together with their Caminito rosé (a different rosé cuvée), Terra Remota seemed to have demonstrated a taste for delivering well-crafted pink wines. At a slightly lower overall quality level, this new Ales Roses cuvée is another demonstration there is some good rosé wine coming out of the winery.
Enjoy 🙂
