New Labels Design: A renewed Image
In 2013, after reorganizing their product range, Alta Alella also renewed its image redesigning its logo and creating new labels.
The designer, Fernando Gutiérrez, is responsible for the new image of Alta Alella.
The new design represents one A overlapping another, representing Alta Alella’s initials but also the hills that surround the cellar.
The horizontal line crossing the AAs was also emphasised as a symbol of the sea that rests at the bottom of the vineyard.
As far as the bottles are concerned, Alta Alella wanted to distinguish the different kinds of wines and Cavas, so as together they would form a harmonious family.
The Grand Reserve Cava range has long-shaped bottles emphasizing the premium image of its content, besides the clarity of the bottle and the sans-serif font, which together represent modernity.
The Reserve range however, is bottled in conventional cava bottles
The Sauló range relies on a different and modern-looking bottle with information on the side of the labels to leave title and capsule stand out.
For the Parvus wines, labels were designed using the watercolour technique to develop geometrical shapes of triangle, in reference to the AAs of Alta Alella.
