Hello Julien.

I think this is a very natural goal and as one of handful of 100% varietal Bordeaux producers, there is a lot of logic to want to help our amazing varietal wine stand out from the crowd and the shadow of her offspring bigger successful Cabernet.

However, for me personally as a strong promoter of beautiful Cabernet Franc, I find it a huge advantage to be part of the bigger #CabernetDay celebrations as it provides a unique platform to highlight the differences between CabSav and CabFranc. I am finding that this type of comparison is helping enormously to showcase Cabernet Franc. If I held a CabFranc Day, I am not yet sure that many people would turn up.

As a brand, CabFranc is poorly understood and in many cases / countries unknown compared to CS. We are 200% committed to being one of the specialist niche Bordeaux CabFranc producers. I don't believe that "going out alone" will (yet) help us to grow our varietal effectively. I am very happy to piggy back on the bigger Cabernet cause! At least for the moment...

My few thought to throw into the discussion..
