Hello Michael. Well. Pairing red wine with seafood is always a little tricky and subjective. As you know, the iodine in seafood don't always go very well with the tannins in reds.
It depends on the type of seafood and the recipe/dish. I'd say this Tempranillo might be a little rich in tannins for delicate seafood dishes. That said, it is not an enormous opulent red either. It's got good acidity, not too dominant a tannic structure and good fruit. So it'll work with richer dishes like some fish stews, or seafood pastry perhaps. Hope this helps :-)

Hi Edwin. Tx for stopping by.
I tasted this 2015 vintage over a year and a half ago and it was good to drink back then already. So I’d think this year is a good time to enjoy it, although it’ll certainly hold well in 2019 too. So I’d say drink before or a little into 2020 to make sure you still get some good fruit freshness out of it which i think is enjoyable in a joven Rioja style.
Hope this helps ?
