Allow me to disagree here. Not all online influencers are paid by brands to write about their products. In fact, the most popular ‘influencers’ aren’t and that is why they are popular. It might be different on Instragam indeed. there many ‘influencers’ are paid to post about products and they don’t really bother saying what they think of the product, what the product taste like, give a rating or anything. It’s very different from bloggers who taste and review wines and give their genuine opinion about them. Putting everyone on the same level just because they are ‘online’ is imprecise to say the least, if not incorrect. There is always suspension even on traditional paper magazines. As we know, magazines are paid by brands as well for their advertising. In fact, most bloggers aren’t paid to talk about wines, while magazines all have advertisers.
