Everybody is fond of wine, but some people are mad about it these days.
Celebrities have recently discovered their passion for setting up their trademark wineries. Some of them started from the scratch and the others just bought a winery and teamed up with professionals to build up their own unique collection.
Fancy a sip of Brangelina’s wine?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who have been well-known for numerous charity projects and awards decided to have winery in Provence, France at Château Miraval.
They posses a 1,200-acre estate located Correns, a picturesque little village in the south of France.
The entire estate is marvellous. It was built in 1841 and there are as many as 35 rooms and a lot of gardens and fountains.
What you could try is their award-winning rosé wine, Château Miraval that was ranked 84th in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year in 2013, making it 2012’s vintage ‘Best Rosé in the world’.
Drew Barrymore’s wine is a must
The wonderful actress Drew Barrymore is famous for her immaculate taste, but her wine will leave you utterly amazed.
She has a winery in Salinas Valley, California where the experts pick sun-kissed grapes and make some of the best red wine there is.
One can Carmel Road Winery’s tasting room which is fantastically furbished. It is open every day from noon till sunset and it is absolutely free.
Black Eyed Peas wine
Fergie is flying in all directions these days – from music career, shoe and clothing collection, fragrance to winemaking, she is literally everywhere.
Her father is an expert when it comes to wine, so it does not come as a surprise. They have a vineyard overlooking the Santa Ynez Valley.
You may want to try their Grenache blend called Fergalicious. The only problem is, you cannot really visit this winery. It’s actually the home of her family, but you can still taste the wines at nearby locations.
Olivia Newton John is an expert, too
The almighty Sandy from the Grease, Olivia Newton John is now one of the winemakers, too.
She launched her winery in 2002. Try her best one – Newton John and check out some of the best bottles Chardonnay and Shiraz.
She does business with her friend Farrar but they were not successful in Australia unlike in the USA where they have been a massive hit selling mostly at large grocery stores.
Francis Ford Coppola knows how to make wine
One of the best movie directors of all time, Francis Ford Coppola is as successful at wine producing as he is at directing. He is quite well regarded in the area.
His range of wine goes from easily affordable to high end finer examples. His estate is in California and it’s embellished by a lot of his movie memorabilia. He created the best collection of both his passions – movies and wine.
Christie Brinkley and her super-popular Prosecco Wines
Bellissima Prosecco was launched to the US market by American model and actress Christie Brinkley in 2016 and has since become one of the most popular Prosecco wines, if not one of the most searched-for sparkling wine in the country.
When launching the new range of sparkling wines in Texas, the 63-year old supermodel and entrepreneur told the Dallas News that her love for bubblies, Champagne in particular goes back a while ago:
“I’ve always been a big Champagne girl. My mom always drank Champagne“
