Stoneleigh is a leading still bottle wine brand in New Zealand, present in most main international wine markets and owned by French global wine and spirits company Pernod-Ricard.
The Riesling wine tasted here is part of the standard Stoneleigh range that includes popular wines present on most main worldwide wine markets: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and a Rosé.
Tasting Notes: an intense, fresh and zesty Riesling, packed full of citrus notes. It tastes and feels like a light and refreshing lime and grapefruit juice. Add a touch of grassy hay, floral notes, acacia, pear and lolly aromas to make for an enjoyable fruity experience. The typically-Riesling petrol flavors only show up on the medium-length finish. It’s made in a dry style, with the acidity reflecting the citrus aromas with citrus-like sharp mouthfeel.
Food pairing: sea food, delicate salads and entrées, light Asian Cuisine.
