Score : 90/100
This wine was selected by Francois Chartier who received the Best Sommelier in the World Grand Prix Sopexa in 1994.
So how good is this 2015 François Chartier Le Rosé?
The answer is in the tasting notes:
Super fresh and fragrant on the nose, packed full of grapefruit, strawberry, pomegranate and zesty lime. It smells like an elegant and refreshing fruit cocktail.
The palate has a good acidity that lives up to the expectation of a having a refreshing drink, which is generally what you have at drinking rosé.
What’s more surprising is that the aromatic intensity perceptible on the nose is also there in the mouth, multiplied several times in fact. It’s a burst of citrus and little red berry notes that finishes on very long and zesty (again) flavors. It’s dry but perfectly balanced.
Overall
A very very good rosé wine that combines the pure enjoyment from refreshing citrus and delicate primary fruit flavors with acidity, balance, and depth from a truly remarkably-long finish for a rosé.

Wine & Food Pairing
Francois Chartier shared with Social Vignerons a unique recipe from his Papilles pour Tous! cookbooks that is perfect for matching with rosé wines: Shrimp skewers with watermelon and paprika-scented cherry tomatoes on pink grapefruit-infused bamboo skewers.
