I tasted this same wine again (with the more modern-style label) at a more recent date in January 2017 , find the newer review at 2015 Dopff au Moulin Riesling.
Tasting Notes:
Mineral, flint, lime and floral aromas.
Elegant, discrete nose with a slightly vegetal touch.
Good acidity-driven palate, dry. Great balance with a medium body.
This is a fresh and crisp Riesling yet serious showing great typicity of the Alsace region.
It is filled with lemon flavors and a little typical petrol-like character.
Very well made and executed.
