Score: 91/100
This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes
This Bordeaux red from Saint-Estèphe comes in a rather dark bright red color, with hints of both purple and orange hues intensifying the aspect.
The nose is also intense and bright, made vibrant by lively red berry notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and blackberry. At smelling it, it makes you want to just bite into this fresh berry aromas.
The aromatic profile is deepened by well-integrated oaky notes of savory spices such as clove and licorice, sweet and delicate vanilla, and intense dark cocoa. Add some hints of bell pepper underlining the typical Médoc Cabernet Sauvignon outline.
Smooth mid-to-full body with silky tannins, provide a mouth-watering and mouth-filling texture, with a grippy finish at this young stage. Flavors burst in juiciness, fresh acidic berries, loads of sweet spices, and just the right amount of subtle vanilla and caramel oak notes.
Enjoy 🙂
