Tasting Notes
With a bright red color of medium intensity, this Margaux comes with a spicy aromatic profile, black and green pepper, some chili can be smelt in there, while the fruity expression in discrete to the nose with subtle notes of fresh redberry.
The wine feels relatively soft to the palate, with a crisp acidity that brings the intense red berry flavors to life, and augments the freshness provided by the peppery spices and a hint of mintiness. The slightly granulous tannins, coated in a soft round body, provide grip to the finish and a distinctive salivating, slightly salty and bitter finish, much like the tanginess of a cranberry juice.
Overall
A light and enjoyable Margaux wine, with the elegance and floral touches that are typical of the appellation, in an approachable juicy, spicy, and fruit-driven whole.
Enjoy 🙂
