Score: 91/100 Points
Blushing Nymphe is a new rosé wine by famous Southern France’s producer Château Maris, made from blend of Grenache Noir and Grenache Gris under the from Languedoc AOP appellation.

Overall Tasting Impressions
The color of this rosé is very positive, to my eyes anyway. I would go as far as to say ‘sublime’!
It is of a bright pink color, of the salmon type, and slightly pale as is typical with French rosé. But it’s a salmon color filled with vibrant purple hues. And I love purple, just look at the color of this website!
Joking aside, this purple-pink wine comes with a pungently-fruity aromatic profile, pomegranate, blueberry, strawberry, and vanilla are dominant.
Oak is obvious just at smelling it, but it is of the elegant sweet style, serving positively at underlining the red berry juiciness of the wine’s aroma.
The palate features dryness on a soft and round body.
It’s balanced and super-smooth to taste, while clear and pure fruity flavors caress your taste buds. Fruity and oaky it certainly is, but it’s also slightly salty and salivating, with smooth phenolics adding an impression of silkiness to the texture.
A conclusion?
An extremely well-made rosé, that has everything to be loved about!
Extremely smooth and very balanced, it features pure and precise fruity flavors, coated in generous vanilla oakiness, but also length and depth, zesty citrus and intriguing herbal notes.
The whole drinks extremely easily with a sense of simple satisfaction from being so enjoyable to sip, as well as interesting to taste and analyze.
Much in the same wine style line as the famous and popular Miraval Rosé from Provence, and certainly looking at surfing on the same trend. If you like the former you will love the latter.
The packaging and bottle shapes are surprisingly similar!
I think I actually prefer this Blushing Nymphe if you ask me!
Enjoy 🙂
